Dessert as Baking Mod

Install Guide

1. Download & Unzip the .zip file using 7-Zip or WinRar.
2. Place the files inside your mods folder. (File Path: Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods) [Note: Script mods can only be 1 folder deep inside your mods folder, .package files can be up to 5 folders deep otherwise the game will not read them.]
6. Remove any .package files for packs you do not own.
7. Make sure “Custom Content” & “Script Mods” are enabled in your in-game settings.

I found it quite weird that EA has left some dessert items in the cooking category (due to baking requiring an expansion pack) when we all know they should belong in baking!

This mod will simply move all items that are desserts from the Cook and Gourmet cooking menus to the Bake menu and the not-so-dessert-type items to Cook! So now your baking menu is for all actual dessert and bread baked goods!

**Note: The game packs that have not added any new foods are not needed, any pack that added a new cooking item could be required for this mod! This mod was created with all game packs installed. If you find a compatibility issue if you are missing a specific pack please let me know.

COMPATIBILITY:

– This mod works with custom food! Such as the ones by The Food Group: Plastic Box, Icemunmun, Necrodog, and OhMySims.

This mod DOES NOT work with any mod that changes the following tuning:

NOTE: This mod does not change the recipe requirements for any of the items moved.
It has only changed the category location of each of the recipes.

THIS MOD HAS BEEN RETIRED.

With the EA release of the Like/Dislikes system, then the release of Cottage Living this mod can no longer work as the mod originally provided. More EA files would need to be overridden to update it, IE recipe tuning and object overrides.

These updates have already been made in: Srsly’s Complete Cooking Overhaul

SCCO has surpassed this mod, please use SCCO instead.
