SCCO "Any Ingredient" Cooking Tags

Install Guide

  1. Download & Unzip the .zip file using 7-Zip or WinRar.
  2. Place the files inside your mods folder. (File PathDocuments/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods)    Note: Script mods can only be 1 folder deep inside your mods folder, .package files can be up to 5 folders deep otherwise the game will not read them.
  3. Remove any .package files for packs you do not own.
  4. Make sure “Custom Content” & “Script Mods” are enabled in your in-game settings.
  5. Enjoy!

**THIS IS A MODDING RESOURCE, IT DOES NOTHING ON ITS OWN!**

This mod only adds new enum tags to the game to allow “Any Ingredient” with the tag to be accepted when cooking.

This mod uses the acronym SCCOR (aka Srsly’s Complete Cooking Overhaul Resource).

There are no new ingredients or recipes with this mod.

Which Creators Use This Resource

The following creators create custom ingredients and/or recipes that use tags from SCCO and/or this resource.

What This Mod Does

This mod adds many new enum tags to the game. These tags are applied to custom ingredients, allowing multiple items to be used when cooking.
For example, if a recipe calls for “Any Eggs” you can use EA Eggs, SCCO Eggs, Icemunmun eggs, etc!
That way no matter what you install from a custom cooking creator they will be compatible with each other. These tags are also included in Srsly’s Complete Cooking Overhaul (SCCO).
If you have SCCO installed you will find these “Any Ingredient” tags for all EA recipes plus a complete overhaul of how EA cooking works.
If you have SCCO installed, you do NOT need this resource installed, it is included.

General Use – How To Use

  1. Download this resource or Srsly’s Complete Cooking Overhaul.
  2. Download your favorite compatible ingredients and recipes.
  3. Enjoy the ability to use multiple creators’ creations and they all work together!  NOTE: Be sure your script mods are enabled in your in-game settings and that the script file in the download is no more than 1 folder deep inside your mods folder or the game will not read it.

Creator’s Modding Resource – How To Use

If you are a creator and wish to use these enum tags to add compatibility to your custom functional ingredients or cooking recipes you will need to follow the following steps.
If you need help, please come by my Discord for assistance. You can #role_yourself as a Creator for access to creator-only chat and help sections.
  1. Download This Mod – Do not include it in your download. Anyone needing these tags should come here on Patreon or my Website to download them.
  2. Add Tags to Ingredients – Make Ingredient w/ Sims 4 Studio > Sims 4 Studio Warehouse Tab > Object Catalog > Tags > Add Tag > Add any tags you want your ingredient to use. You can add as many tags as you wish.  NOTE: When you add a tag, you will add the “Tag #” on the spreadsheet to your ingredient. This will allow your ingredient to be accepted for any tags you list. When you add the Tag # in Sims 4 Studio you will not see a tag name, this is normal, you will only see a number for custom enum tags.  On the “Harvestable Spreadsheet” you will find a list of all the tags for SCCO/SCCOR. Included in this resource are the “SCCO NEW Purchase Tags” and “SCCO Ingredient Tags”, you will find these tags on their respected tab on the doc.
  • “Purchase Tags” – These are tags for purchase menu categories for you to add to your ingredients. These tags determine what purchase menu an ingredient shows under. (To use these tags you will need to use a compatible purchase mod, like SCCO.)
  • “Ingredient Tags” – These are tags to allow the ingredient to be used in a recipe. Anything that has the tag of your choice will be accepted. For example, if 4 creators use the “Any Sugar” tag for custom sugar ingredients you will be able to use all 4 creators’ ingredients in the recipe if they are installed.

Once you have added the tags to your ingredients you can make custom recipes and call for the “Any Tag” instead of a single object ID and it will accept any ingredient with that tag as long as SCCO/SCCOR is installed.

3. Using Tags in Recipes – When you add ingredients to your custom recipes, you can use the following tuning to add the “Any Ingredient” tag.

As a bonus, on the harvestable spreadsheet, you will also find all Ingredient ids for ingredients. This includes all EA ingredients and ones made by compatible creators.
